Default 71 340 heads brass valve guids &seat replc

1971 340 motor questions, First, on stock 71 340 heads, is brass valve guides the way to go or cast iron or what? what problems with brass might happen?... second... is replacing a valve seat good? ,is that the way to repair seats that are out of specs and some way outs specs because the mechinest over ground the head seats, is this ok to do? any problems with that procedure?.... third.. if your only redoing the Bearings on crank and rods and new rings.. no Boring done, using old pistons and have the old rods and pistons and old crank balanced and the rods and pistons are maked for each cylinder should'nt they go back in same cylinder? is it ok to shove them anywhere you want to? or instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
in it matching cylinder, it goes, 2,1,4,3,6,5,8,7'' .and 340 rocker arm shafts (stock ones), they must go on certin way, not inerchangable or switchable correct?..and should'nt the springs on heads be even, and the tip of valves the rockers ride on should be even also , laying strait edge across them? 1 more thing,,, is any (i mean any!) part of a MOPAR Motor like a Ford? Can you go by Ford specs, procedures, torque specs to assemble a mopar motor. thanks for all replies .........

I read your other topic. This guy is screwed up. Each brand has it's own ass. procedure and torque specs. The pistons have to go back in the proper holes. And in the proper direction so the oil holes line up to sqirt oil to the opposite cylinder wall. The valve stems are to be even along the tips. A seat can be cutout and an insert put in. But he doesn't deserve a 2nd chance.
