6189 isn't in the Holley catalog. You've might have got the wrong number off the carb. The proper number is usually on the choke tower preceded by the word "list" and sometimes the letter "R"
example "List R9932-1" is a 280 cfm model 5200 2bbl. double check the number Dave |

Are there external float adjustments on the fuel bowls? If not, it's a factory OEM carb, probalbly off a low perf 383, 400 or 440 from the early 70s. And I think 585 is what they were.

The number is from the choke tower and it's list # 6189. I'll check the bowls tonight.

Yes it does have external float adjustment screws. It also has a box on the side of the throttle body plate with 1 adjustment screw for the throttle shaft movement.

Can I take the secondary metering block and associated parts and use them on my 450. To convert it from a 4160 to a 4150?
