Default MSD Ignitions - Digital 6 or 6AL with 2 step?

Does anyone have any recomendations for which of these units is really superior and worth the money? It appears that the Digital 6 is about $50 more than a 6AL with a two step.

The advantages of the digital 6 are the the automatic 20 degree retard for starting, and the ability to not have to buy pills since it has dials for upper and lower limits. Is there anyone out there running this unit with any success?

Anyone had Don's FBO Bullet ignition delivered yet? Any high points? I was considering waiting for one of these, but the low limit on the two step is important to me. The Bullets will not have this available anytime soon I understand. I suppose I could wait and be a beta tester for the two step Bullet unit....

A friend of mine bought one for his BB Chev Super Street car and it was a disaster. A well known race car builder told him that the Digital 6 was junk and to call them up and get them to swap it for a 7AL. He did, and they did! They didn't even ask for the Digital 6 back in exchange! This was about 2 1/2 years ago, so maybe they fixed it. If I were you, I'd use the 6 AL.

I use em and I think that its the best thing i did. It makes the wiring much neater than the 6al with the two step and a retard box. its up to you though some people say they have problems with the 6al also.
