Default Wiring manual tranny linelock to clutch.

Who's done it and how. Can you safely use the switched ground clutch switch to disengage line lock on launch. This won't work for a line lock burn out though, so do you have to have 2 different powered switches wired to one line lock to get both functions?

You could use two relays with two arming switches and one activation switch. I may have a simple program to draw this with and then post a simple diagram. If I do, I will draw it out and post it a little later.

Here is my drawing of the circuit. It would allow you to have either line lock or clutch or both. All 12VDC points should come together into one place and then be fused before actually connecting to a 12VDC power source.

I can't say how well the whole setup would work, however, It should be the equiv of side stepping the clutch and releasing a line lock at the same instant.

I know that some people don't like to use relays, so I have created an alternate drwing that does not use relays.

I've cleaned up the diagram with the relays.

Thanks for the info. ehostler. Will probably go with the non rerlay, since the draw is supposed to be only about 1 amp.

Once you get it installed and working, you'll have to let us know how harsh the launch is. I think that it should help with the reaction times.
