Help Spacers for Comp Cams SB roller rockers?

Hi All, I took look at my new roller rockers and shafts from Comp and they come with Spacers that go between the arms in 4 locations each side. My question is do i need to put additional spacers between the hold down bolt spacers and the rocker arms, their is some play now. Can somebody who has installed these on their SB give me some tips?

The finished product should be set up so each roller is centered on its respective valve tip. This will give you the ideal setup. You may have to use spacer shims to accomplish this - hopefully no grinding on the rockers.

They didn't happen to send you an extra spacer - I'm one short at the moment!!

No 345Dart, no spares, not even any instructions in the box, for over $400 you would think that they could put them in the box huh? How much side to side clearance is acceptable/needed?

I installed them with the parts supplied ran the adjuster down till snug then gave them a 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Then tightened the nut. They have been in my car for 2 years no problems.
You are still running the hyd.lifters right?didn`t need no spacers or shims or had to do any grinding! This was the best performance part I put on my 340.If I remember right they have intrustions on the website, also

As Hotrod said "no side movement" meaning a few thou. for clearance say .010max but no more otherwise the roller will not centre on the valve tip and put side load on the valve.
Its the little things that matter.
