Oil temp gauge sender..
I'm wondering where to place my oil temp sender.. I was going to put it at the back of the motor next to my pressure sender but it will stick into the block .. I'm worried about it impeding the flow..
Any thoughts on this placement.. should I just put a nipple on it to move it out of the flow???? Thanx Blygy |

You should weld a bung into the oil pan and install it there.

Oil Pan placement..
Ken.. unfortunately this is a PowerWagon that does see offroading.. a Pan mounted unit would cause me to replace the wiring everytrip into the bush I'm guessing..
either that or I'd have to fab a skid plate for under the whole motor.. but it WILL impede oil flow in the block right???? Blygy |

It MIGHT impede oil flow slightly to one lifter bank, but that shouldn't be of much concern. It won't have any effect on bearing or rocker arm oil.
