Question flywheel bolt washers?

My flywheel bolts came today. In the package are a set of star type crush washers are theses needed? I'm doing a 4spd conversion on a 66 dart.

I would use them, and also put blue locktite on the threads.

Have you used them before? I've posted this on three different boards and half of the responses say to use them and half say don't.

I am an ASE master auto tech. Some cars use them and some do not. Over the years I have seen, many flywheel/flexplate bolts come loose. That is why a number of people, myself included, suggested locktite. If I have the washers I use them, they will not hurt anything, and give added insurance. If you are concerned, look in the factory parts manual, it will have a picture, and show if the washers were used or not.

Thanks for your help. I have used loctite in the past. But I've never seen the washers before. This is my first slant 6 / Mopar flywheel and just want to be sure.

Washers are not needed or used on stock slants.
