Help 67 Dodge Coronet

Doing eng swap from small block to 383, what do i have to do for eng mounts? Do i need to change k frame? How about headers, is there a specific brand that fits the best? Any other tips would be great! Thanks to who ever answers my plea.

Far as I know, K-member is fine unless you want a 426 which is different. But you'll need to upgrade the front suspension because of added weight with a big block.

TTI Headers are suppoed to be the best fit, and will be my next set, Hooker's and Headman's also worked fine for me.

The only difference in the frt suspension, is the torsion bars.

The sb ones will work(crank them up) but bb ones are better.

Mount brackets should be available from a boneyard somewhere.

If not, get a new set from schumacker.

You will also need a different rad, as the hose layout is different, and of course, the BB, won't bolt up to the sb trans

The canadian feilded that one perfectly.
However the radiator may or may not need to be changed .
As this depends on the year of manufacture of the water pump houseings wich are interchangeable.
