Confused MP 6 to1 Header

Is my next move denting a couple of tubes to get this 6 to1 header to fit around the crank for my clutch linkage? I do know I will get a mini starter for this setup!

You can get a set of brackets or make your own and move the Z bar up a little to clear the header tube. It's not a major operation and wont effect the clutch or shifting. Your only talking about a 1/4 inch or so anyways.

You bet! My brother and I was just discussing shining up the RoadRunner just the other day. Wished I had a new race car handy. I'd take it too. Most of ours are well used or on the surface plate still being built.Hope to bring one out there next year though.

Will you have that slant ready for the show??

I should have the Duster there. I have 1 1/2 months so it could happen! Had to cut 1/2" out of the support that runs between the engine and bell housing. Installed the mini starter(better try it before bolting on the intake) pipe #5 had to be dinged to clear thr corner of the bellhousing. #6 is touching the bellcrank. Mucho modifications on it! What really sucks is there is NO GROUND CLEARANCE! Guess I need to check into that.

Rug, your getting me nervous. I have a MP 6 to 1 header on the floor at my shop, won't be able to put it on my '68 Valiant till Oct. I hope I don't have the big problems your running into. Good luck with yours.

I am going to have to be careful not to dent them on the ground. Probably go to a 15inch tire. Don't think there is a 15" small bolt pattern wheel is there? Turn up the torsion bars too.
