Comp Cams 270H in SB?
I currently have the above cam in my 1970 340. I am curious if anyone is running this cam in their small block. If so, can you tell me what vacuum numbers you have at idle and your idle rpms?
Thanks |

Thanks for the reply.
Since I posted this, I have talked with Comp Cams and they said that they do not have any actual numbers, but their guess would be at 800-1000 rpm idle it would have 12"-13" vacuum. I guess that the 110 (installed at 106 per card) c.l. has an effect on the vacuum at idle. I am currently idling at 950 with 14" vacuum and it has a slight lope to it. If I lower the idle to 900 the idle starts to get pretty choppy. Thanks |
