Question torque converter id

I purchased a bunch of parts from a local guy here in NM and included was a torque converter, is there any way to know what stall it is. It is a considerable amount smaller than others i have.

It has been my experience that a torque converter is hard to identify. Even if you know the exact size, you still don't know how many times it has been taken apart and modified.

Are there any numbers stamped on it. Some aftermarket or rebuilds can be identified this way.

What is the outside diameter of the converter? Not the ring gear.
Is it a 727 or 904? Lock-up?

Good luck.

Billy

The only # on the converter is RG 130 H W , it is 10" in dia. and is red. There is also a BU stamped on the underside in the center.
If anyone knows what this means i would appreciate it. I was told it is off of a 727.
