Overdrive Question????
Other than changing tranny's what possibilities are there for overdrive for a 4-speed. Thanks

GearVendors has been promising an OD for the 833. However, they have been making that promise for over 3 years and they are no closer to having one.
You'r only real option is to swap in an OD tranny (like the Keisler 5-speed). |

how about the truck 5 and 6 speeds?......they make a B engine adapter for those. NOT sure though on a super HP application though.

The Gear Vendors unit for the 833 has been available for a while, the latest issue of Mopar Muscle magazine has an article on the installation.

Their website still states to be available in 2000. I also know that about 6 months ago, they still didn't have anything for the A-833.
So, they have finally released coupler and have forgotten to update their website. Thanks for the heads up. |
