Shake, Rattle and Roll got you?
Try a Schumacher torque strap on your engine as I was pleased with the results after I installed one. My Hedman headers had a tendency to contact metal in two spots but now everything is much better. Motor vibration is non existant and with a built 340-4spd-4.10 combo I think it was a must. Should have done it along time ago. Definitely a big improvement and worth the $65. I'm using rubber spool mounts and a poly tranny mount.

I just use a cable connected to both sides of the motor mount. It allows the mount to insulate the body from the engine shake while stopping the engine from torueing too far.
It only cost about $5 and is impossible to see, unless you are looking for it. |
