is a 89 360 worth it

i pulled a 89' 306 motor out of a truck, roller lifters etc. runs great, with a performance cam, will it be worth it. my 318 is a bit shot, still runs on 7 cylinders but shot.
Also do the heads switch sides

What "Performance "cam is in there?
You can take the drivers head and bolt it to the passenger side with out ANY problems at all. There swapable.

Whats the 306 from?

im unsur it acually came out of a 76 volare, the car was pretty beefed, it was a salvage yard of course. but from what ican tell its in really good shape, i did hear it run, sounded great
