Default should I

89 heads that i picked have holes under the exhaust ports, where headers bolt up, I think there for emissions, can i plug them, weld them or what

just tap them, screw in a bolt, and grind it off smooth. thats the easiest route. has worked fine for me.

thanx, selling that cuda,?

also,can anyone figure this out, i bought an autometer fuel gauge
from summit and a new sending unit, from mother mopar but the gauge only gos to 3/4 full when full, then i think its empty, i fill up but its still 1/2 full? please help finger this out,tanx

should have asked me about the sale thing last week when I was throwing wrenches around the garage, BTW those if I remember right last time I tapped those later 360 heads I used a 1/4 inch/20 thread tap...but then again it has been a while since I have done it.

can you move the float farther from the pivot? might want to check the voltage swing on the Autometer to the Mopar spec. Maybe you need a resistor or something.

1/4 by 20 is the size. The fuel sending unit needs to be bent on the floats arm. (Pain in the a$$.)

rubber. although they stretch a little, they're reusable if you have to take the valve covers off for any reason....
