? about engine height on swap
Son 5 came in to put a 400 in place of the 383 that had rods poking out the block. Here's the set-up 32 hi boy solid motor mounts welded to the frame when the 400 was put in the engine looks to be about 3/4 to 1 inch high in the front. Is this just the way I'm looking are could the mounts need to be lowered. Car ran fine with the 383 had lots of miles just one too many shots of giggle gas

23T...
The 383 and the 400 are the exact same size externally. Is it possible that different motor mounts were used? Or did you use the mounts from the 383? I understand that the mounts are welded onto the frame, so that tells me that you are using the same mounts. If you used the 383 mounts it must just be "your eyes." Good luck, Mopar_Maniac |

Yea same mounts and I know it's should be a direct swap and yes I thought the brown jug may have affected the eye balling but it looked the same next day. Guess I'll finish it up and send him on his merry way with the a Dude, man just mark it down and I'll catch you latter LOL
