Brake light
I have a 74 RoadRunner that has a brke light that is constantly on. We bled the brakes and that seems to be o.k. Ckecked the emergency brake switch and that's o.k. We took off the connection to the sending unit on the main hydraulic block located under the master cylinder and the light went off. Re-connect it and the light is back on. Before I say the sending unit is bad I need some help making sure I have done everything correctly and I haven't missed anything.

ok... after thinking about things, i got my book out. you need to recenter the proportioning valve (you called it the "main block" i think). raise and support the front end of the car. turn the ignition switch 'on'. loosen the brake line at the valve for the part of the system that was not opened, or, if both sides were opened, the side that was bled last. depress the brake pedal slowly until the light goes out. if both sides were opened, it may be necessary to repeat the process for another line at the valve.
thats what the book says, hope it helps.
