new MSD Stacker
Just insatlled the new MSD Stacker ignition PN 7000, into my 'Cuda with the standard MP electronic ignition.
This baby installed in 15 minutes, basically because all it needs to connect to is the coil + and - terminals and the battery, with supplied blades, right over the existing wiring. So, it works, started up faster and easier, haven't had it out on the road yet, though. It messes with my tach, even though it's not supposed to...reading (a sunpro electronic tach..maybe that's why..) double actual RPM at times, but ok over 3000rpm ( I guess because it's a single spark then, as are all CD ignitions..) wish me luck! |

funny.., Rumble..
I had her out today, and the difference is most noticable in the low end response. I could lug 4th gear at 25mph (3:23 gears w/25"tall tires). Also smoothed out the power and let me rev to over 6300rpm (didn't mean to, just ...happened...) Also, there is now almost no noticalbe exhaust odor.. |
