Default Yoke size?

I need to replace my u-jpints an it came to the question of yoke size. How do I find this out? What exactly does it measure?

depends on which book you go by...

for the most part. if it's a standard size, measure the width of the cap, and from one end to the other. If you are really unsure, it's just as easy to take it to the store with you. (spend the money on good ones)

The two most common Mopar u-joints are the 7260 and the 7290. The yoke inside dimension for the 7260 is 2 1/8" and for the 7290 it's 2 5/8".
