Total Timing
Can anyone suggest what I should be running for total timing.
360, 10:1 comp, 272 cam, 3.23 gear. Just need to make sure I'm in the ballpark at 32*. I can't get to the track any time soon to test correctly. From experience, do any of you know were the small blocks generally like to be. I know it likes lots of initial(eg. 15* to 19*) because at these numbers traction becomes a real problem. |

All mopars seem to like 34-36 degrees, based on experience and what I've read in the mags.
Your best might be different based on altitude and octane, but 32 total seems a bit short. You don't need to push it to the edge of detonation to get great performance, so don't risk the motor by going to far. |
