Stock 10 3/4 Converter ?
hi
is there a differance between a early 70's and late 70's 10 3/4 stock torque converters? as in stall speed or other factors? thanks |

In most cases there was no difference but a Hi-Stall version of those converters was introduced in the late seventies. Without the factory paper sticker, it's pretty hard to tell a Hi-Stall from a standard converter.

another ? if late 70's would the hi stall only come with a counter weight? or were there both with and without. |

All of the Hi-Stall converters that I've seen were behind 360's so they would have weights. I'm told that some /6's used a Hi-Stall so there could be some without weights.

if i remove counter weight i could use it behind a 383 ? is this right? |
