Don't know if it was the turbo muffler (long time now) but had a borla stainless steel on my turbo toy 4x4 loved the sounds plus adding the 2 1/2 exhaust and muffler ran lots better!

There one off the better companys out there. They do cost a bit more than the ave. muffler. But you pay for what you get. Stainless steel mufflers cost more.

Seen them on T.V. once. Spokesman claimed if they could not improve power to the cars out put through there system, they would not make it. He also said they don't make there systems for a few cars out there. (Not named) But it was there street system they were talking about. Not the race units.

Option #1 Flowmaster delta flow 40 series + TTI Headers.
Option #2 Borla Muffler + TTI Headers

For sound I like the Flowmaster 70's (w/ a true dual setup), I like the deep mellow and quieter tone. For performance an X pipe with Magnaflow, Borla, or anyother straight through design muffler.

It's something you have to decide yourself. Personally, I have had two sets of flowmasters, and do not like their tinny sound at all.

I had a Borla exhaust system on my '85 Monte SS (doh! my heart is truly mopar though!) with an x-pipe and they sounded/performed great. They were the turbo variety. I was very happy with them. Nice low tone but not too noisy when cruising.

I have a bigblock in my truck 3in dual exhaust crossover and 2 chamber flowmasters and I hate the loud, rappy sound, not nice on a daily driver, the 3 chambers IMO have a better sound, also the two chambers are a race muffler designed for engines spending most of there time at 5000+ rpm.

The tti's with the Borla's. No question. No doubt!

Hmmmm That is very interesting, Don't like the sound of the masters being tiny. I think I will look further into the Bola systems. Cheers guys......One more thing they should unite well with the TTI 40 series headers aye?
