Question Electronic Ignition Conversion

I am converting my 72 Dodge pickup with a 360 from points over to electronic ignition. I bought the harness kit from Mopar and I was wondering which wires go where? THey are color coded so if someone new where a wiring diaghram for this conversion would be, it would be greatly appreciated.

Default wiring

My diagram shows black wire to negative side of coil. Blue wire goes to run side of ballast. Green wire is not used. Of course grey and black wires go to dist. Hope that helps.

no, but thanks for trying...
the wires are: yellow on black
brown on green
yellow on blue

two of them go to the ballast resistor and the other one is going to be power Im assuming.

hey let me know what books you are refering because I read those directions right out of the Mopar conversion kit(P3690426)and if they are wrong I need to notify Mopar Performance at once.

I did the conversion earlier this summer and without a diagram I couldn't get it right. I have several at work, but you can find one at:

http://www.fourforty.com/techstuff/ignition.html

My harness had an extra wire (green/red) that wasn't used. Just there to confuse me, I guess. It was a ProForm setup but the Mopar diagram suited it fine.

I was looking through the 73 service manual...it wasn't that you weren't right (LA360DART), I was just looking for something with more information. Thanks for the input though, it gave me a starting point. Hay Newport Beast??? Is the diagram on the website for a two post or four post ballast resistor. If its for a two...can I just splice wires and use a four...which one is better...or does it matter

You want the 2 post ballast resistor. You can find the directions for the Mopar Performance swap at http://www.dippy.org/main.html under the "Upgrades" section. It shows you a wiring diagram for both Lean Burn conversion and Points conversion.
