The K frame will swap as you described. The brakes are the same size. I can help you out with a front and rear disc set up if you like. We have built several F bodies over the years as street and pure race cars. We know a lot about these beasts so if you have any more questions just ask or E mail me at ********************

i wont to switch to 15" tires and wheels and the torshion bars and sway bars seem to be a little beefier than the slanty and k-frame thats in it now is this a good swop ?I would rather have the v8 k-frame plus can you recomend a place to get new parts like rubber or poly and a rebuild kit for the steering box.

Summit Racing for poly graphite bushings, Firm feel for steering boxes always, and 15's will fit withthe max tire 255/60's on all four wheels with no rub. Remember the Volare' and Aspen were the platform for the Aspen R/T , RoadRunner, Super Coupe, and PEtty Kit car. They all used 15 inch wheels. Dont get screwed by some one trying to sell you Super Coupe wheels that are just plain cop car wheels. The difference is that Super Coupe wheels have holes drilled to mount the Super Coupe wheel center. Be careful these can be drilled in any wheel. The other give away is that police car wheels have 4 lips on hte center that hold the little hup cap on. The Super Coupe wheel does not. They are smooth. Super Coupe wheels run arounf 400 a set these days and plain cop car wheels are no more than 20 a piece.
