Radiator purchased online from "carpartswholesale.com"-final note
This is not a commercial-just an F.Y.I. if you need a radiator. My local guys wanted $225.00 so I took a chance online.
I needed a cheap radiator for the Challenger. I want to drive it as much as possible while gathering "good parts" for the upgrade so I did not need a heavy duty, top of the line part. Just get me on the road for now. I found a new radiator for approx. $110.00 and free shipping from CA to NC at this online place www.carpartswholesale.com Took 8 days to get it (oh well-no shipping charge) It did not have a cap - I have been told this is the usual. It had a plastic drain plug- I have been told this is usual. It had 2 metal connectiors for the coolant lines - I have been told this is usual. There was packing tape over the inlet and outlet holes and over the hole where the cap goes. The bolt holes seem to match up-I will install it Thursday night. These are the facts. If anyone needs a cheap, new radiator I suggest checking these guys out. When I called the company to ask about the cap, I had to be transfered to 3 different people but the third one I talked to was the company owner and though he had no time for chitchat, he did give me my answers. And they have an 800 number. Overall a positive mark. Hope someone can use this info. Thanks to everyone for their help to me in the past. chris |
