Default Fan Clutch for Early B-Body Cars

I think John Kunkel may have the answer to this one.

It's known that it's a challenge putting a fan clutch on an early B car with a 383 and a stock K member. Not much room between the water pump and the radiator.

I went to Fall Fling in Southern California this weekend. I saw several '64 Dodges with big blocks, stock K members and a fan clutch. I couldn't get a good answer from anyone. Some guys told me it was stock. I'm not sure I believe this. In 1964? Hmmm...

My question is what part number are they using? It's a short fan clutch. What application can be looked up to get this fan clutch?

Thanks for the input! ~Todd

In the Imperial brand (Autozone and others) there are two short fan clutches that reportedly work in the early B's, one is #215080 and the other is #215081.
I don't know what the original applications for these is.

Just go to Napa and get a " Tem F- Clutch # 271308" and give them $49.13 + tax and you will have no problem. Do you have the 5 blade fan?

An update:
The source that gave me the Imperial part numbers now says they won't fit a Mopar; sorry for passing on misinformation.
