Theres a few Brooklyn boys here on the board. Knowing if Brooklyn was it's own city instead of a borrow of New York, it would be the nations 5th largest city, theres got to be someone there.
I'd hate to send you to Huntington L.I. for mine. But he is well know out here and very good being a 20+ year Chrysler mech. now in a MoPar only shop.

maybe your guy in huntington could reccommend someone in brooklyn?? could i get his name and #?

I just dont have the time to get into it myself. It could be just the gasket or it could be something worse. i just want someone with experience to take care of it. I also nedd to know as many specs as he can give me on the internals. its been a mystery i need to solve.

Yes measure the piston for deck hiegth and bore
Have him put the dial indicator on the cam and measure the lift dration at 50 and the lobe separation....takes about 20 minutes once you've got the heads off.

Do a quick cc on one of the combustion chambers so you can calculate true compression.
