440 flywheel
Hey guys and gals, i have a 1978 440, with a cast crank, i am wanting to put a 4 speed in, but i was told that if i did, i would have to balance my flywheel so it matches the cast crank, because all or most of the manual trannys were on forged cranks, can someone tell me how to balance the flywheel so it will work with my cast crank?

In an old direct connection chassis book there is instructions for the flywheel balance. If you can't find it anywhere else, I can fax the pages to you.

Hope it turned out OK, there si instructions for all the external balance flywheels; the 383-440 cast crank flywheel balance seems to be the same.
