Default 727 Front band

Does anyone know if a rigid front band for a 727 can be bought anymore? This is for a manual valve body race trans. I had a mopar magazine that gave a place that sold them but I can't find it. Or how do people feel about using the flex band. I have not used them, have always used the rigid and have been very happy with them. Never any trouble and very long life.

Rigid bands are still available from several sources including Bulkparts http://www.bulkpart.com/
I actually prefer the flex band but most people don't.
