Robinson Electronics REPORT on FBO IGNITION!!!

Robinson Electronics is a local company to me, I was able to get in touch with them today!

I talked with Jim there for about 20 minutes and all he could say was how impressed he was with the box!

He said it was absolutely the top choice for a mopar control box because it gave every bit as good performance as an MSD if not better, and it was a plug in install!

Said it was the best box for the buck and that it should put out close to 45KV @ 8000 RPM with the resistor bipassed(bypass on a switch).

OVerall, Jim figured it would put Mopar Performance out of the ignition box business. He said there was no duration in timing no matter the rpm.

He told me that an Accel coil like mine would work well, but if I wanted the ignition system to look stock, get the FBO box because it was a wee bit better. He also said none of the regular coils even compared.

I am going to send him a chrome ECU and my orange ECU to test for comparison as soon as I get me a Bullet BOX!

Can't hardly wait!

I think 38KV all the way to 8000 RPM with a 1 ohm resistor. He said if you bypassed it, you would see a 10 KV or better jump in output.
