Default Can i install big C-body rear drums on my E-body?

I hear that I can put the big 11" x 3 drums on my Challenger if I change the backing plates. Lucky me, I have a friend who has a pair of plates I can have. Mancini has an inexpensive kit with all the hardware, shoes, and wheel cylinders. I just ordered my drums from NAPA and I got that last bad thought...
Will there be any problem with the axle length?
I am thinking of installing Green axle bearings as well. Do you, or dont you, have to pull the center section to install or remove any type of spacer?
Thanks,

Sure they aren't 11 x 2.5?

I thought 11x3 were the front and the rare c body with tow package...

Axle length is the same. I have done this swap to a few vehicles (10 to 11")

The green thing, I don't know, but I do think you have to remove the cross spacer, from between the spider gears. Someone else will know for sure.

No, you don't need to remove that spacer. I was going to on my challenger, but then I decided to leave it in incase I ever wanted to put regular bearings back in.

THey are 11x 2 1/2 and they will swap using the green bearings and no the spacer does not have to be removed. Or, I can set you up with a rear disc kit for around 400 or so. Let me know if your interested since the disc kit will get you stopped much quicker and it's much lighter than rear drums. This lowers unsprung weight quite a bit and helps increase handling some.
