Post B/RB Eddy heads?

Just wondering if the Eddy heads can support 600 horses? Im about ready to spend the money, so were is the best place to but these heads at? Has anyone dealed with Aerohead? They use there valves, they get the head bare and machine it with there parts. I just heard a few bad things with Eddy's valve job and machine work.

Most of the EB head problems were resolved by EB. As far as AeroHeads goes, I have seen nothing (from them) that states that the complete head is using anything other than what EB ships with the head.

In stock trim, the EB heads will accept a max of a .600 lift cam. Anything more than that and the heads will need some machine work and different springs. Then the runners weren't really designed for the extra volume, above a .600 lift.

600hp out of an eddy is possible...Andy F. recently posted a 406ci combo that made 575hp with box stock eddies. MM had Barton build a pump gas 493 with mild portwork and that combo made approx 625hp. A roller cammed 440 could make that # if properly sorted out. Lots of different ways to make 600hp with those heads......just pick one. Ron
