Cool compression question

I'm eye ballin a rebuild kit for my 360. The pistons are 8.66:1 if I use a 68.4 cc head. Now what if I used a 66cc head? what would my approx compression be? what would be the max compression for pump gas (93 octane) be using an iron head? I always read 9.5:1 what do you think?

9.5 on iron heads and 93 is safe and 10 to 1 is pushing your luck. Not sure what cr you will get since you have to figure in your boresize and head gasket thickness too. The piston manf. can help you with that. I would use the Keith Black hypers like we use in our lower classs dirt track cars. Cost you around 216 a set and we get 10.7 to 1 with 64 cc heads and our victor orange gaskets.
