Default 34 plymouth

I am restoring a 1934 plymouth and have a few questions, 1 does anyone know what the correct collor of the engine is and 2 what do you do to rebuild the shocks? any and all help gladly accepted I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future.

I'm dying to get a '34 rumble seat for hot rodding purposes.
Any MoPar rumble seat would though.

Here are a couple of websites that will be of some help to you. The plymouth bulletin site has a forum of nothing but old mopars.

Strange as it may seem, ebay does have a lot of stuff, also hemmings motor news.

Let me check in our manuals I have a bunch we do restos + rods so I will get back to you in a day or so on that.we have the original manual at the shop possibly.

As far as I know, flathead sixes and fours were always painted aluminum in early mopars. The Flathead I ripped out of my 48 pickup was silver and the shocks sucked so I put in a 400/727 (painted red) and a late 70's B-body front suspension just because.
