Offy Dial a Flow
Has anyone even seen or used one of these. It seems like a great idea if it works.

Never heard of that one. Looks like the port-o-sonic until you get to the plenum.

Does that "Turtle" turn? Maybe to isolate the 5-8 ports from the 1-4 ports like a plenum devider (low end torque) Weird. Offenhauser had some "Offy" the wall designs back then.

Yeah that center section swivels so you can direct more or less flow to different ports. I am guessing that it either is to sophisticated or it just didn't work because I have never seen a similar design like this before.

Here we go, off a German site..."has interchangeable "turtles" to adjust plenum volume and floor shape"
so you dont "dial" it in, you just replace the turtle with a larger one to decrease plenum shape and volume. Try finding the turtles now! easy enough to make I guess. |
