Default Changing the distribution block after disc brake upgrade on 69 Abody?

Anyone that has changed the frnt. drum brakes over to disc, where did you get a new distribution block (one from 73-76)? Or what did you do if you didnt change it? I dont think putting in a adjustable proportioning valve will help me. Thanks.

I cant speak for A-body but I just changed to discs on my c-body. From my experience you will need to change the bias valve. The car will stop without but the brake light comes on and you can feel that your not quite getting full braking.

good luck
Julian

Well you could always take it off the donor car the disc set-up came from. I changed over my 70 Duster and left the old valve on it.works perfect! But its a bracket car.You can stab the brakes hard and it will almost lock(lock?) the rear wheels first.

Best place is to get it from the donor car (as stated above).
