Default 904 to /6

Hey guys. I'm not too familliar with the workings of the sloped one. I'v got a 904 that was mated to a 318 and need to know for selling reasons if the trans will bolt right up to the 6. While on the subject of interchanging, here's another Q.. it may seem like a dumb one to some but I'll never know without asking. Will a converter thats been in a 727 with a small block work with a 727 with a big block? Thats it for now. Thanks for the help.

The v8 trans is not the same pattern as the slant.

The torque converter should work. Just make sure you have the right flex plate, as there are two different diameters from the factory.

Also be leary of the blanace type. ie a 318 converter (from either a cast of steel crank engine) will work on a steel crank 440 but not a cast crank 440.
