Default Break-in

I just purchased my first Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Truck with a Cummins H.O. Diesel. I am plannig on doing some towing in the future and needed a truck like this. So far it is awesome. I am wondering though is there any special break-in procedures I should know since this is the first diesel vehicle I have owned. I appreciate the help.

Hook a trailer on it and go for a ride. "Grocery Getter" driving is not the best way to break in a diesel. If you don't have access to a trailer, at least try to put on some miles by some extended "Sunday Drives"

Default Break in

Thanks for the info. I did good because all of the first 1000 miles have been doing long distance runs of 200 mi plus. What a ride and again thanks for the info.
