Default AFB marine carb question

Can a marine carb be used on a car application with no problems or modifications? I looking at what I believe is a 750cfm electric choke marine carb and was just wondering if it would work. The price for it is very tempting. Thanks!

Default Marine Carbs

I think the only difference is the throttle linkage and the parts are coated to prevent corrosion. I never had a marine carb, but the ones in catalogs have a different color. I would expect the aluminum parts to be anodized or alodined/chem filmed.
