Default Ballast Resistors

Right now I have installed an MSD 6AL with a blaster2 coil & MSD distributor.
69 Dart, 360cu in
I left the ballast resister installed the loop with no problems.
Should I eliminate it.
Any opinions.

The msd does not use or need the resistor. You can remove it.
