Default new carb for a 360...

what would you guys recommend for a 360 carb wise?
I figure a vacuum sec. would be best, I was thinking either a 670 holley street avenger, 625 road demon, or the 650 speed demon..

what the diff between the 2 demon's other than the 25cfm anyway?

I'm leaning toward the holley, it's the cheaper of the bunch and i have one on the 440 in the chrysler and works great.

for a 80 dodge mirada.
360
9.4 comp
comp xe268 cam
1 5/8 headers
RPM intake
2000 stall
3.23 gears (will probably goto 3.55's)

The Speed Demon doesn't have a choke on it, but you can get a kit. So you should get a 625-750 depending on what you're going to do with the car. Mostly racing a Speed Demon. Mostly on the street the Road Demon.

Or the same size in Holley or Eddy. or Thermoquad

Differences in the Demons are in the metering. The speed Demon has a larger idle circuit to compensate for a longer duration cam as well as the choke and the jetting differences. The Road Demon would be a great carb as well as the TQ. You could go with the Holley, but the TQ would probably be the best all around carb once it is dialed in. The money spent on a new Holley or Demon could be used to get Demonsizzler to rebuild and rework your TQ to your specs. He test runs every carb on a motor and it would be a bolt on when it gets back to you.

Pista, he has the RPM on top so a T-Q is probably out due to hood height more than anything.
A 650 cfm would be good.
