Hypertech Power Programmer III
Has anyone tried the new Hypertech power programmer for the 5.9 24V Diesel I think the P/N is 50009? I just got back from towing a 27' enclosed trailer from MN to western MT and back and I could use some more power.
If anyone has used other programmers or can suggest other relatively inexpensive power gaining methods let me know. I am definately open to suggestions. Oh yeah, it's a 2001 2500 QC 4x4 Auto w/285/75R16's Thanks, Keith |

Edge Products is coming out with a programer that allows you to change settings from a dash mounted control.
I saw it on Speed Channel, e-mailed Edge and they say it will be out in Feb. This allows 5 different settings to adjust for towing and other conditions. My son in law had a 2001 with a fixed performance module and it improved his towing greatly. He tows a 34 foot 5th wheel. E-mail www.edgeproducts.com and see what they have. We are looking at the Attitude control |

I am interested in a programmer that plugs into the OBDII also. Anyone have the Hypertech and or comments?
I like the idea of plugging in to OBDII port and would be great to access everything this way as opposed to plugging something in under the hood. |
