Biggrin Ordered a New 2500 Quad Cab Today

I finally ordered my new truck today. Here's some specs:

2004 Dodge Quad Cab, SLT, SWB
325 HP/600 ft-lb HO CTD, 48RE automatic transmission
Towing Pkg, tow hooks and mirrors
Clearance and Fog Lights
3.73 gears
Engine block heater ($9)
Patriot Blue Pearl paint
Light Group, Rear Window Defroster, Security Group

I checked to see if Chrysler still had the 999 special paint codes, but was told special paint was for fleet orders of 20 or more. I wanted Petty Blue or maybe a White Pearl similar to what my '64 Belvedere has on it. You can't always get what you want....

Just curious how much off sticker you got it for and what was our out the door price? Hope you enjoy your new truck to the fullest!

Default 1% Below Invoice

I haven't gone through all the paper work yet, but one of the guys in the Cowtown Mopars that works for Chrysler is giving me one of his Friends and Family coupons for 1% under invoice. In addition, Chrysler is offering a $2500 discount, there's some $500 Farm Bureau discount since it's a diesel (I have to join though, $40), and there is a Brand Loyalty discount that Chrysler offers to repeat buyers. Invoice is $32,495, MSRP is $36,090. Then there are adders like local sales taxes, license and title fees.

I waited until my house was paid off, so now the I will use that money on the truck payment. Chrysler has a 0% for 48 months with $2k down that ends 3/31/2004. Payments will run about $600/month with that deal unless I put more down. I think I'm getting a pretty good deal. It's nice to have Mopar buddies at the dealership and Chrysler. Not sure, but there may be some IRS tax credit for alternative fuel vehicles awaiting for the diesel. I think that's a $2k credit. I need to verify that though.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a heckuva deal to me. I'd sure like to get a new one, but I got other priorities first. My '93 sure isn't ready for the heave ho yet either! Hope it gets delivered quickly to you. It's agony having to wait very long. Once again, enjoy!!!
