75 duster smog question
My dad and I bought a 75 duster with the orig. /6 in it. We took it out and put in a recently rebuilt 65 /6 in it. We know that it has to be smogged, so is there any difference between those years that wont let us be able to smog it? Also, its a california emissions car, and we don't have the air pump it came with from the factory. Will that effect it either? Thanks

Your car is exempt from the California testing cycle for automobiles. Although no smog certificae is required for cars manufactured pror to 1976, the state expects cars to be properly maintained and a gross polluter could be required to pass a one time test to certify its condition. No Smog certificate required for 1975 year cars.

Thanks for the help George. We went to the DMV, and they said we had to smog it. I would like to know were you got your information from, like a website or something. Thanks again.
