Small block or big block?
I haven't used that profile but one near that spec, installed Crane 99838 dual valve springs, 110 lbs seat / 320 lbs open, no problems It's a 360 |

And they recommend 99893 spring for a cam profile in the area of profile with the big block, 120 lbs seat / 394 lbs open

Comp 928, Isky 8005A, Crane 99893....all very good springs for the 590 cam in a BB.
the Comp 924 doesnt really have enough open pressure for that cam. the 925 will work too, but i like the 928's better. |
