Question Clutch or cone?

I'll be finding out tonight if I have to replace my 3rd member or not, but I've been doing some pricing. I keep hearing about clutch style and cone style suregrip units. Which is better? Whats the difference?

A clutch type is far superior to a cone type unit also the clutch type are rebuildable the cone type are not
