Default Parting, 89 Daytona Shelby w/ some go-fast parts

I posted this for sale as a whole a while back and decided to start to part it out instead. I'll post more parts as they come off the car. Let me know if you want anything specific off of the car and I'll see what I can do.

All parts off of 1989 Daytona Shelby.

-Stock T3 Garret. 92k miles, needs swingvalve housing bolts drilled out (3 if i remember correctly). Very little shaft play, pushed 17-18psi fine. I'll throw in a G-valve as well.

-Autometer Phantom EGT guage/probe. Analog. brand new.
Autometer Phantom Boost guage 30vzc-30boost. Analog

Any offers on the rest of the car as a whole are still welcome.

Question

Marc,

I may be interested in the turbo. My son's car is a '91 Daytona that we converted from a 2.5 to a '87 2.2 turbo from a LeBaron. We swapped the wiring harness, fuel pump, and trans as well. After about four months the car started losing power and making grating noises that I found came from the turbo. It also was pushing a lot of oil back through the breather. I took the valve cover off and re sealed the baffle and replaced the PCV valve. It didn't help. So I took the turbo off and it's definitely bad. Very loose and grating when I turn it with my fingers. Do you know if the turbo has something to do with the oil problem? Also, will your turbo work with this engine and would I have to modify anything. Sorry for all the questions, but I hate to spend the money and ruin another turbo. I'm also going to post this problem in the FWD section.

Thanks,
Scott

The Garret is already sold. Sorry

As for the oil, if it's pushing out during boost then you might want to check your valve stem seals.

Good luck,
-Marc

Check that out for some updates. Also, I am selling the rest of the car as a whole (common block, A555 trans, interior, body, pumpers) on Sunday. If you want any of those then keep an eye on the turbododge.com forums.
