A518 vs A618 - Moparchat

Anyone out there know what the difference is between the two? Thinking of an A518 swap into my 360/904 Mirada and figure a v-10/Cummins A618 tranny ought to be pretty much bullet-proof as is but never see one mentioned. Comments will be most welcome.
