3/4 in, fuel sender line
Im looking for ideas to convert my fuel sender line to 3/4in. Does anyone make a replacement or am i going to have to make my own? I suppose i could just get some line and make it with my existing sender..
I done really want to use a sump, I dont want a "race car" look, I like my car looking as stock as possible. any ideas??? thanks |

No one makes a 3/4 sender and you dont need one either. Race cars dont use over a 1/2 inch and on most street cars, anything over 3/8 is usually over kill and makes the pump work too hard.

Jleilich,I don't know much about converting a stock tank to a bigger line, but I have seen posts where a 1/2"line was installed in the tank.Try the search. It seems like to me you are in the power range for a bigger line. They do make lines bigger than 1/2''but you wont need it.If you ever line up against MY340 or 43:just smile!

You can get a sender with 1/2 from many places. I belive even Year One and PAddock have them and so do many speed parts places.

You cannot find fuel sender with ½" line. They don't make them. Do a little research, before you spew that crap again!
It is fairly simple to pull out the old sender and then bend the new ½" line to the same shape. Then remove the old line from the sender assembly and install the new line. solder the float assembly into the same position and all will be good. Your best bet would be to pulg the original sender and then have a Milodon sump assembly installed on the tank. It won't look original, however, it will prevent any fuel starvation problem |

Jacobs sells them for one, but htey are closed til March 22 for some reson. Better get your crap straight E many sell 1/2 senders.

You recommend two restoration companies. Neither of them sell the part. Only one or two specialty shops sell that item. That would make it very cost prohibitive.
If you want to recommend a part like that, you need to be a bit more specific as to where it can be had. As far as Jacobs goes, who are they? What's their website? The only Jacobs that I know of is Jacobs electronics and they don't sell fuel system parts. I think that what you are refering to is a generic ½" fuel sender that needs many mods to replace the stock sender in a specific MOPAR gas tank. The reason that I say this, is that it wouldn't be cost effective for a 'many' places to carry an item that not many people buy |
