Question K-member question

hi, I just bought a 74 duster no engine orig. 6 cyl.. I want to change out to v-8 k-member for 340. I dont want to use schumacher adapters. question: will all a-b0dy k-members interchange? is the only difference in motor mount styles(spool type verses pad style) ? I have only owned early pad style cars and have found them to be very easy to pull and install engines, is there any advantage to the later spool type engine mounts? Thanks Brian.

Any '70's a body will fit. The spool type are better. The pad type tend to pull apart with very little age or if you have an engine with lots of torque, so I would use the spool type. They are just as easy to pull and install engine s with as the old pad types.
